We took our first official outing to the Sugar Mill in Deleon Springs. Damian and I figured that it would be safer to have many hands available to help, so we ventured out with family. Sadie did great while we ate, but hated her dirty diaper right at the end. Next time we know to change her in the trunk, not in the back seat (which rolls a baby backwards) or on the roof (which scared me senseless). Thanks for the advice Chanda!
Sadie is one month old today. We are still having fun with her, even though sleep deprevation is a horrible thing. At her doctor's visit last week, she had gained 12 ounces in seven days, making her a grand total of 8 pounds 4 ounces. She is getting bigger by the day. 
We went to see the pediatrician today for Sadie's two week appointment. The doctor is still a rough experience for Damian and I. Sadie doesn't like to be cold, so undressing her is sad, especially when she cries. I am really not comfortable with where they put their thermometer either. That is just WRONG! The good news is that she is growing. She is now 21 inches long and 7 1/2 pounds. She has gained one pound in a week and a half and has grown one inch. She is healthy and happy (except for all the gas she still puts up with). We are sleeping in 2-3 hour spurts, kinda. Damian and I are starting to learn to live without sleep. :)
