Sadie - The Beginnings of Crawling

Sadie started scooting around last month. Here, she has started getting up on all fours. She knows she is supposed to do something, but she doesn't quite understand what to do yet.

This is Sadie at four months. Grandma King was shaking vitamin bottles and making Sadie giggle. This was the first time that she giggled this much at one time.

Busy Weekend

This weekend, Sadie and we never stopped moving.

Damian and I were playing with Sadie. She enjoys rolling around between the two of us. She has also found her feet. I have found one to many wet socks on her feet from her getting it to her mouth and sucking on it. These socks have crinkle butterflies on them.


We took Sadie to the DeLand Christmas parade. It was at night, and she enjoyed all the lights on the floats. She had no problems with the band or police sirens. She fell asleep after 30 minutes.

Sadie visited Ma'Maw and Pa'Paw as well. She has found out the Pa'Paw's calculator makes noise when it prints out on the paper.

Besides all of this, we also have video of her starting to crawl. She was getting up on all fours last night. It is only the beginning. :)

Christmas Wonder

Since Sadie is now scooting all over the living room (and I mean scooting - not yet crawling) she has found the Christmas tree. She will grab the carpet, tuck her knees, and push herself until she is close enough to reach out and touch the ornaments. I thought that we would be safe this year. NOPE.

She yanked this one off the tree by herself. And yes, I took it away quickly because it still has the hook on it.
